About FootyAI
FootyAI is an AI footy analyst for AFL fans — an Android app where you can chat about the season and get match previews, predictions, value picks, round multis and a Premiership Predictor, all grounded in real data rather than model hallucinations.
How the analysis works
When you ask FootyAI a question, the AI doesn't answer from memory. It queries live AFL data first — fixtures and results, the current ladder, team form and head-to-head records, a public statistical model's win probabilities, bookmaker-consensus odds and player season statistics — and builds its answer from what it finds. Value picks are computed, not vibed: the model's probability for a side is compared against the market's implied probability (with the bookmaker's margin removed), and the edge between them is shown in plain percentage points.
What FootyAI is not
FootyAI is an entertainment and information product for adults 18+. It is not a bookmaker, does not take bets, and does not provide financial advice. Sports predictions are probabilistic estimates — favourites lose every single week, and no model changes that.
